Accelerate your leadership journey with two exceptional opportunities exclusively for people living with moderate to severe disability: our immersive Social Impact Fellowship and prestigious business school scholarships at Harvard Business School, UNSW, and Melbourne Business School. Both programs are fully funded and designed to help you develop your unique potential as a leader for social change.
Which opportunity is best for me?
Disability Leadership Scholarships
- I'm looking to complete an MBA or leadership qualification at a university. 
- A longer program (between 1-4 years) would suit me best. 
- I'd like to complete my studies in a large community of academics and professionals from across many sectors. 
- I would prefer a (mostly) in-person experience where I am in a classroom with others. 
- I am happy to complete assignments and exams and meet participation requirements. 
Social Impact Fellowship Scholarships
- I'm looking to upskill in the social impact space. 
- A three-month long program would suit me best. 
- I'd like to complete my studies in a close-knit impact focused community. 
- I would prefer online sessions only with the option to participate in occasional in-person networking catch-ups. 
- I would prefer to have no assignments, exams or participation requirements.

Disability Leadership Scholarships

Social Impact Hub is incredibly excited to launch a new capability-building scholarship program aimed at empowering individuals with moderate to severe disability by providing access to mainstream leadership programs internationally and here in Australia. Through six fully-funded scholarships, we aim to provide pathways for people with disability to gain the leadership skills, education, and confidence to serve on Boards in the for-purpose sector.
About the Scholarships
- The scholarship covers tuition fees, additional course costs, and any additional accessibility resources the institution is not able to provide. 
- The scholarship for the 'Advanced Management Program' at Harvard Business School also covers travel to and from Boston, America. Accommodation and most meals are included in the program fees which are covered by the scholarship. 
Eligibility Requirements
Individuals who are living with one or more of the following moderate to severe disabilities:
- Vision impairment - person has difficulty seeing even if wearing glasses 
- Hearing impairment - person has difficulty hearing even if using hearing aids 
- Mobility/functional - person has difficulty moving around and accessing or engaging with the environment 
- Cognitive impairment - person has difficulty remembering, concentrating, or processing information 
- Communication impairment - person has difficulty communicating,expressing, understanding, or being understood. 
Scholarship awards are contingent on acceptance into the respective institutional program. Before applying for the scholarship, applicants should ensure they meet the program's eligibility requirements. The scholarship application is separate from the program application, and applicants will be directed to apply for the relevant university program once we have reviewed their scholarship applications.
Available Programs
Advanced Management Program
Harvard Business School
- This program runs for three months, and is - held partly in-person on the Harvard - Business School campus. The scholarship - available for this program covers the cost - of travel. 
- Dates of the upcoming programs: - 7th September - 21st November 2025 
- 15th February - 1st May 2026 
 
- The deadline to submit a scholarship - application for the September intake of this - program is on the 11th of May, 2025. 
- The scholarship for the 'Advanced - Management Program' also covers travel to - and from Boston, America. Accommodation - and most meals are included in the - program fees which are covered by the - scholarship. 
MBA
Melbourne Business School
- MBA Scholarships for Melbourne Business - School are available for Full Time, Part - Enrolment Details: 
- Full Time: The full time MBA runs for 2 - years, takes enrolments once a year for a - September intake. The deadline for - scholarship applications is 3 May 2025. 
- Part Time: The part time MBA runs for 2-5 - years and takes enrolments 4 times a year. - The deadline for scholarships application - for the next intake is 22 June 2025. 
- Online: The online MBA runs for 3 years and - takes enrolments 6 times a year. If you are - interested in studying an online MBA - please make this known on your application - form. 
MBA
University of New South Wales (AGSM)
- MBA Scholarships for UNSW are available - for Full Time, Executive or Online programs. - Enrolment Details: 
- Full Time: The full time MBA runs for 1 year, - takes enrolments once a year for a - September intake. The deadline for - scholarship applications is 11 Jan 2026. 
- Executive: The Executive MBA runs for 2-4 - years and takes enrolments 3 times a year. - The deadline for scholarships application - for the next intake is 22 June 2025. 
- Online: The online MBA runs for 2-4 years - and takes enrolments 3 times a year. If you - are interested in studying an online MBA - please make this known on your application - form. 
Submitting an application for this scholarship does not mean you have submitted an application to the relevant educational program. Applicants will be directed to apply for the educational program after their scholarship application has been reviewed. Social Impact Hub can not guarantee successful enrolment in any of the university programs.
Fellowship Scholarships
The Social Impact Fellowship delivered by Social Impact Hub is a transformative program for individuals seeking to explore their purpose and understand how they can drive greater social and environmental impact through their work and beyond. It is targeted at Australian-based individuals.
This scholarship is specifically designed for individuals living with moderate to severe disabilities looking to enhance their leadership and governance skills for use in the social impact space.
Eligibility Requirements
You should:
- Be an individual with significant disability (for example, you are NDIS-eligible), across one of these categories: - 1. Vision impairment - 2. Hearing impairment - 3. Mobility/functional - 4. Cognitive impairment - 5. Communication impairment 
- Be based in Australia or New Zealand. 
- Have an interest in creating or deepening your social impact 
About the Scholarship
- Full program scholarship covering all program costs 
- Four additional one-on-one mentoring sessions with mentors of your choice (six sessions total) 
- Personalised support throughout your Fellowship journey 
- Option to attend an in-person networking event 
- Additional weekly Peer Learning session with other scholarship recipients 
This collaborative learning journey helps you build practical skills and enter a support network to help you confidently navigate the next steps on your impact leadership journey.

Scholarship Applications for Cohort 9 are now open! This is the second and last cohort of 2025. It will run from late August to mid-November
