The Social Impact Hub's Professional Impact Network (PIN) is an innovative and selective member network that leverages the talent of its highly skilled members for social good. It aims to become a transformative resource for the social impact sector as well as a professionally and personally rewarding experience for its members.
PIN members offer high-quality support and advice to social purpose organisations and come together to build a body of best practice for the impact sector. Members have a wide range of business and management backgrounds, significant levels of achievement and a shared vision of deploying their expertise for good.

Here’s some examples of the many exciting opportunities PIN members have been involved in.
The Social Outfit
A PIN member worked with The Social Outfit to map out the ecosystem of ethical fashion retailers, refugee support services and unemployment training providers in NSW and Australia. We created a long-list of 60+ potential partners, with our work culminating in a curated shortlist of ten value aligned potential partners and a guide supporting The Social Outfit to approach these organisations.
Macquarie University
We partnered with Macquarie University’s Incubator to deliver the Social Impact Program, a 10-week immersion in how to build a social enterprise from idea to pitch. Members of our PIN have facilitated interactive virtual workshops on everything from articulating a vision through to customer discovery, measuring impact and pitching.
COVID-19 Support for Social Enterprises
In April 2020, we put out a call for PIN members and corporate mentors who could offer their time pro-bono to help social enterprises deal with the business challenges they faced as a result of the pandemic. In the first four months we helped more than 60 social enterprises address a range of challenges with leadership coaching, financial modelling and strategies for new business models.
