Social Impact Hub Launches the Fourth Social Impact Fellowship

Social Impact Hub is proud to launch the fourth cohort of the Social Impact Fellowship. This talented group of 55 fellows are committing the next three months to building their networks, knowledge, and the skills needed to either pursue a career in the for-purpose sector, or embed greater impact into their careers and beyond.

Over the past two years, the Fellowship has supported over 100 professionals spanning diverse expertise and sectors. Each cohort has enthusiastically contributed to the culture of collaboration and peer-learning within the program, bringing a unique set of skills, experiences, and ideas to the sessions, particularly the networking.

Our upcoming cohort will be no different, and is the most diverse group of purpose-driven individuals we have supported so far. We anticipate this group will bring a variety of perspectives and a richness of expertise to the program - 23% are entrepreneurs, 20% are currently working in the corporate sector, 13% in government, and 31% within the not-for-profit sector.

During the Fellowship, our impact-focused leaders will get access to high-quality masterclasses, and gain practical, hands-on experience working on projects with social enterprises that address real-world challenges. Through mentoring support, networking and professional development opportunities, they will also get to experience a journey of self-discovery and learning designed to build their capacity to contribute to social change. Fellows will emerge with a toolkit of approaches, methods, and skills they can apply to growing and scaling their impact, as well a broader network of impact professionals and changemakers.

Some of the weekly content themes include:

  • 21st-century entrepreneurial skills including lean startup methodology with Poppy Rouse.

  • The world of social entrepreneurship featuring CEO and Co-Founder Andrea Comastri from Hotel Etico.

  • Impact investing and its exponential growth with our incredible CEO & Founder Jessica Mendoza-Roth.

  • Impact measurement best practice with Kathy Hoyt.

  • Identifying your values and vision and explore how to fulfil your potential with May Samali.

  • Leadership and emotional intelligence with Kenton Smith.

We're excited to see how this new cohort will develop along their journey of self-discovery and learning designed to build their capacity to drive positive social change and create lasting impact.

If you're looking to grow and scale your impact, applications for the July cohort are now open. To learn more and apply visit https://www.socialimpacthub.org/initiative/social-impact-fellowship
