Summary
Established in 2013, The Parenthood is a new not-for-profit campaign and advocacy platform for Australian parents, giving parents the opportunity to campaign on issues that matter to them and their children. The Parenthood was established by a group of Australian not-for-profit organisations who recognised Australian parents didn’t have a vehicle to advocate for change. It represents mums, dads, grandparents and primary carers and lobbies on their behalf to government and business to gain positive policy changes.

Project Description
The Social Impact Hub was engaged by The Parenthood to explore and develop their idea for a family friendly workplace initiative targeting Australian corporations. This initiative looked to:

  • drive a widespread shift in workplace culture towards family-friendly policies and practices
  • and to generate a sustainable source of income for The Parenthood.
